The Municipal Theater of the Adolfo Suárez Cultural Center hosted the Commerce Gala, an event organized by the City Council of Tres Cantos through the Department of Commerce. The ceremony recognized the work of 11 local businesses, highlighting their trajectory, innovation, and contribution to the city's economic and social growth, as part of the celebration of Tres Cantos' 35th anniversary.
The event underscored the fundamental role of local commerce, which comprises nearly 1,200 establishments in the municipality. The gala was divided into four categories to award different aspects of local entrepreneurship.
In the Roots of Commerce category, Casa Emeterio, Cortinas La Cibeles, and Mercado El Zoco were honored for their long history and deep connection to the municipality. The Stories that Build Tres Cantos awards recognized Quinto Café, Restaurante La Bocatoma, and the Nemomarlin Children's School, acknowledging business projects consolidated through personal effort.
The New Commercial Generation award recognized Anat Salón de Belleza, La Esencia Clínicas, and La Provenza Interiorismo for their recent initiatives and contribution of new perspectives. Finally, the special 35th-anniversary category honored Centro Veterinario Daktari and Multivisión, historic businesses present since the city's early years.
The event highlighted how these businesses have accompanied the growth of Tres Cantos, maintaining a close relationship with residents and strengthening local identity. The gala included the screening of historical images that traced the evolution of commerce in the municipality, consolidating this sector as a key economic and social driver for the daily lives of its inhabitants.
