Self-employed individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses with fiscal residency in Colmenar Viejo will be able to apply for subsidies of up to €2,000 for the modernization of their businesses. The Governing Board has greenlit the 2026 call for applications, which has a budget of €200,000 and is designed to facilitate adaptation to the digital market.
The aid will cover 50% of the eligible investment, with a maximum limit of €2,000 per applicant, meaning the maximum allowable expense before VAT will be €4,000. Expenses must have been invoiced and paid between January 1, 2025, and the date of the call's publication in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid. The application period will be 30 business days following this publication.
Beneficiaries include sole proprietors (self-employed), micro-enterprises, civil partnerships, community of goods, and cooperatives, provided they have their fiscal headquarters in Colmenar Viejo and meet the established requirements. The call covers the acquisition of technological equipment such as computers and POS terminals, video surveillance systems, visual merchandising improvements, digital advertising, artificial intelligence implementation, and process automation.

The Councilor for Business Development, Susana Jiménez Aibar, emphasized that the initiative aims to support local entrepreneurs and SMEs, facilitating their adaptation to a demanding market. She highlighted the importance of these grants in boosting economic activity, creating opportunities, and fostering an environment conducive to developing projects with added value.
The application process will begin after the official publication in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid, with a deadline of 30 business days. Interested parties are advised to monitor the publication and prepare the necessary documentation, including invoices and proof of payment.
