The Community of Madrid leads high-tech employment in Spain and ranks as the third region in Europe, with more than 270,000 professionals working in cutting-edge companies. This was highlighted by the Minister of Economy, Finance, and Employment, Rocío Albert, during the III Executive of the Year Awards, organized by the newspaper La Razón.
Albert emphasized that the regional government is actively working to help companies find more qualified professionals and to leverage market opportunities. To this end, initiatives such as the Young Employment and Digital Talent plans are being promoted.
The Digital Talent plan has improved the skills of 7,000 individuals, achieving a 60% employment insertion rate. Furthermore, the TalentIA program, in collaboration with Microsoft and PUE Academy, aims to expand AI training as a key driver for employability.
