The regional government has greenlit a contract for the deployment of this platform, which will enable the administration to design and develop new digital processes, as well as optimize existing ones. The initial investment, exceeding 5.8 million euros, will be executed over the next two years, with a possible extension for another two. The first procedures to benefit will be those of the Tax Inspection Office and the management of subsidies for training entities.
The management of this tool will be handled by Madrid Digital, the Agency for the Digital Administration of the Community, in line with the regional strategy to modernize public administration through advanced technologies. The main objective is to simplify procedures and make them more accessible to both citizens and businesses.
“"The platform will reduce waiting times, eliminate repetitive tasks, and proactively detect inefficiencies in administrative management."
According to Miguel Ángel García Martín, Minister of Presidency, Justice and Local Administration, the system will rely on cloud solutions and integrate existing electronic registries, notifications, and digital signatures within the regional administration. This initiative is part of a digital transformation strategy that combines process analysis, intelligent workflows, and real-time data utilization to optimize resources and improve decision-making, all within a secure and coordinated environment.
The system will progressively adapt to evolving demands, combining technological capabilities with professional oversight to ensure public service efficiency without losing human control over procedures. The approved contract will provide Madrid Digital with the necessary resources to define, manage, and govern the operation of this technological infrastructure, laying the groundwork for a future intelligent process center that will centralize the digital transformation of the entire regional administration.
