The Madrid City Council has completed the construction of a new industrial factory in the La Atalayuela industrial park, in Villa de Vallecas, with an investment of 10.1 million euros, intended to host sustainable and high value-added projects.

This complex, spanning over 4,300 square meters, joins existing factories in Vicálvaro and Villaverde. The initiative is part of Plan Sures, a development program for the southern and eastern districts of the city, aiming to consolidate a network of specialized spaces that foster economic activity and employment in areas with industrial growth potential.
The new factory is organized into five distinct sections. Four of these will house companies across 14 units of various types and sizes, adapted to different production needs. The fifth central module will serve as the access and connection hub, concentrating common services such as administrative areas, an auditorium, an exhibition space, a coworking area, meeting rooms, and a laboratory.
The purpose of these facilities is to offer not only a physical space for companies but also services that facilitate the launch of industrial initiatives with a strong innovative component. With this addition, Madrid's Industrial Factories Network expands its capacity from 28 to 42 available units, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises through temporary accommodation, service provision, and specialized training to enhance their competitiveness in the initial stages of their projects.
This factory in Villa de Vallecas is part of Madrid Capital 21, the urban transformation program promoted by the City Council.
