The Governing Council of the Community of Madrid has approved a contract to implement a smart platform based on automation and Artificial Intelligence, aiming to create and modernize digital administrative processes for citizens and businesses.

This new tool, which will be managed by the Agency for Digital Administration (Madrid Digital), is designed to continuously optimize procedures. This improvement is expected to result in greater agility, simplicity, and accessibility for all users, both individuals and corporations.
Among the most notable benefits of this initiative are the significant reduction in waiting times, the elimination of repetitive tasks that consume resources, and the ability to proactively identify potential inefficiencies in administrative management.
The project aligns with the Community of Madrid's strategy for modernizing public administration, which seeks to integrate advanced technologies such as process analysis, intelligent workflow utilization, and real-time data management. The ultimate goal is to optimize available resources and improve decision-making quality.
The platform will operate with cloud solutions and integrate with existing public systems, such as electronic registries, notifications, and digital signatures, ensuring a more secure and coordinated environment. Furthermore, its design will allow for flexible adaptation to changing demands, combining technological potential with professional oversight to ensure efficient and accessible public service.
This contract will provide Madrid Digital with the necessary resources for the definition, management, and governance of this infrastructure. It will also lay the groundwork for the future creation of the Intelligent Process Implementation Center (iBPM) of the Community of Madrid, which will strengthen the regional administration's capacity to develop new digital public services.
The project involves an investment exceeding 5.8 million euros over an initial period of two years, with the possibility of extension for another two years. Its deployment will begin with key processes, such as those of the Tax Inspection Office and the management of subsidies aimed at training entities.
