The Community of Madrid has approved an investment of 4.7 million euros until 2029 to expand the Madrid Aula Digital platform, incorporating more courses and technological features.

The Governing Council has greenlit a significant investment of 4.7 million euros, extending until 2029, aimed at expanding the Madrid Aula Digital academic platform. This initiative seeks to enrich the training offerings, introduce new functionalities, and enhance student support services, adapting to technological advancements and citizen demands.
This sum is in addition to the 8.2 million euros already invested in the launch of this tool, which has established itself as the primary digital skills development resource in the Community of Madrid. Since its inception in 2024, the platform has trained over 152,800 citizens, far exceeding the initial target of 78,203 participants and nearly doubling projections.
Madrid Aula Digital serves as the foundation for the regional digital training strategy implemented by the autonomous government. This strategy aligns with the objectives announced by President Isabel Díaz Ayuso to further strengthen the technical competencies of Madrid's residents and facilitate their adaptation to an increasingly technological environment.
Integrated within the Regional Digital Skills Plan, the platform currently offers more than 150 free courses. These are available in various formats: in-person, online, and blended learning, catering to different profiles and knowledge levels. The catalog ranges from basic digital competencies to specialized content in high-demand fields such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data analysis.
