The Leganés City Council has initiated a new tender process for the hospitality and catering facilities at Las Dehesillas, a site that for decades housed the emblematic 'El Cebadero' establishment.

This decision follows the initial awardees of the first tender choosing not to proceed with the project. The Councillor for Public Works and First Deputy Mayor, Carlos Delgado, has confirmed that the period for submitting bids is now open.
The proposed concession is for a period of 20 years, with the possibility of a five-year extension. The annual fee payable to the municipal coffers is set at 64,000 euros.
Interested parties have until May 11 to submit their proposals. Additionally, on April 30, a site visit will be organized for promoters to assess the space and plan any necessary works for their projects.

"The city council's offer presents «magnificent conditions» for a catering center located in an «idyllic» setting."

The location is strategic, adjacent to the Las Dehesillas Municipal Center, where civil weddings are held by the City Council, and next to the Open-Air Sculpture Museum. The area boasts its own surface parking and a spacious outdoor area with a large terrace, ideal for tables and parasols.
