The Community of Madrid has awarded the Madrid Excelente seal to Iberia Express, recognizing its performance as the most punctual airline in Europe and one of the most significant globally. This distinction also acknowledges its commitment to innovation, operational efficiency, and environmental care.

The hallmark, granted by the regional government, highlights the airline's trajectory as one of the most competitive firms in the European air sector, emphasizing its adaptability, customer orientation, and dedication to continuous improvement.

As part of this initiative, Iberia Express has adorned one of its Airbus A321neo aircraft with the Madrid Excelente seal. This plane will fly to over 20 countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, serving as an international ambassador for this distinction promoted by the regional government.

Furthermore, this aircraft is considered one of the most advanced in its category, owing to its lower fuel consumption and reduced CO₂ emissions.

The Madrid Excelente seal distinguishes organizations that excel in responsible management, innovative capacity, people-centered approaches, and positive impact on the economic and social environment.

Since 2023, over 125 new entities have joined this initiative by the Community of Madrid, which currently includes approximately 300 organizations linked to this national and international benchmark of quality.
