The functional training chain Distrito Estudio has announced the opening of a new center in Madrid's Pacífico neighborhood, its third in the capital, as part of its ambitious expansion plan aiming for 20 operational studios by the end of 2026.

The inauguration of this new space, named Distrito 280 Madrid Pacífico, is scheduled for late summer on Granada Street 44. It will span approximately 180 square meters and represents an investment of nearly 380,000 euros. This center joins existing locations in Conde Duque and Goya, reinforcing the brand's presence in the Spanish capital.
The new studio will be designed to offer personalized training in small groups, accommodating between 35 and 40 users per hour. Disciplines offered will include Bootcamp, Strength, D45, and Pilates, which are core to the Distrito Estudio training model. The company, founded in Vigo in 2015, currently operates 16 studios across Spain, with five owned and eleven franchised, and has two additional openings confirmed.
A key aspect of Distrito Estudio's growth strategy is its asset-based investment model. This approach involves a third party acquiring the real estate asset and subsequently leasing it to the chain, facilitating access to strategic locations and improving long-term contractual conditions. The Pacífico center is the third project to implement this scheme, following its success at Distrito 280 Madrid Conde Duque and Distrito 280 Madrid Goya.
For the 2026 fiscal year, the company aims to reach 20 operational centers and continue scouting for new locations. Distrito Estudio boasts over 6,300 active members, 72% of whom are women, with an average age of around 40. The chain is highly rated on Google, with an average of 4.94 out of 5 based on over 4,300 reviews, positioning it among the top-rated boutique fitness brands in Spain.
The Distrito Estudio training model, co-founded by Ernesto Rojas, Brais González, and David Estébanez, focuses on technical specialization, individualized monitoring, and a high-quality user experience. Its centers operate Monday through Sunday, from 7:00 to 22:00, offering a training system based on movement patterns, with an emphasis on strength, overall physical improvement, and injury prevention.
