Rosa Visiedo, rector of Universidad CEU San Pablo, emphasized that this integration offers an opportunity to consolidate the university's relationship with the productive sector. "We want to further enhance our connection with companies because it is essential to understand their needs to better train our students and also our professors. Our goal is to prepare the professionals that companies demand and contribute, through training and research, to economic and social progress," she stated.
For her part, Sara Molero, general secretary of CEIM, welcomed the academic institution, highlighting the value its incorporation brings to the Confederation. "The competitiveness of our companies depends, to a large extent, on their ability to attract and develop talent. Therefore, it is crucial to strengthen collaboration between universities and businesses. The joining of a leading institution like CEU will help bring training closer to the business reality and advance together in areas as relevant as innovation, applied research, or artificial intelligence," she noted.
