The airline company will implement this new connection with a total offering of 1,456 annual flights and 270,816 available seats. Departures from the Spanish capital are scheduled for 07:05 and 15:10, while return flights from Düsseldorf will depart at 10:45 and 18:50.
The addition of Düsseldorf to its route network strengthens Air Europa's presence in the German market, where it already operates established routes to Munich and Frankfurt. This initiative significantly enhances Madrid's connectivity with Germany's main economic centers.
This year, Air Europa has expanded its network with new routes to destinations such as Oviedo, Seville, Geneva (Switzerland), and Johannesburg (South Africa), demonstrating a growth strategy both nationally and internationally. Additionally, by the end of the year, flights to El Salvador and Barranquilla (Colombia) will be added, consolidating its presence in Central and South America.
This expansion underscores Air Europa's positioning as an airline focused on connecting European, African, and American markets from its base in Madrid, reinforcing the Spanish capital's role as a strategic airport hub.
