Data provided by the employers' association Hosbec reveals a favorable outlook for tourism in the Valencian Community during Easter Week 2026. The city of Benidorm stood out with 89.8% hotel occupancy, solidifying its position as a prime tourist destination.
In addition to high occupancy, there was a 3.7% increase in average rates compared to the previous year, indicating an improvement in the sector's profitability. This rise not only benefits establishments but also translates into higher tax revenue from tourism consumption.

Other areas of the Valencian Community also showed excellent performance. The Costa Blanca reached 82.2% occupancy, while the province of Valencia achieved 92.7%, with the capital, Valencia city, recording an impressive 97.2%. The province of Castellón closed with 84%, and Peñíscola with 85.3%.
The forecast for proximity demand and last-minute bookings was met, with the domestic market representing 62% of tourists staying in hotels. International markets, with more advanced bookings, accounted for 38%, with the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and the United States being the main sources of tourists to Valencia.
The positive impact of this Easter Week is expected to extend into Easter Week, coinciding with school holidays and the reactivation of the business and MICE market, with strong confirmed booking forecasts.
