Ainia and Redit Ventures, the investment vehicle of the Valencian technological institutes, have created ART Technologies in València, a new company that will industrialize and commercialize industrial inspection solutions using hyperspectral vision.
This joint initiative aims to provide advanced quality control in large-scale production processes, especially within the agri-food sector. ART Technologies' technology is designed to detect elements invisible to the human eye, such as foreign bodies in bulk food products, thereby enhancing safety, efficiency, and traceability.

"With ART Technologies, we take another step in our commitment to bring technologies developed at AINIA with high industrial impact potential to the market. Hyperspectral vision opens new possibilities to improve quality control and safety in the food industry, especially in processes where traditional inspection has limitations. The collaboration with REDIT Ventures allows us to accelerate the arrival of this technology to the business fabric through the creation of a specialized company that promotes its industrialization and adoption by the sector."
Meanwhile, Gonzalo Belenguer, advisor to Redit Ventures, highlighted that ART Technologies exemplifies the impact of the Network of Technological Institutes in the Valencian Community. This new company will contribute to the creation of a technology-based industry from the most disruptive R&D, offering co-investment opportunities to companies associated with the technological institutes.

"ART Technologies is another example of the great impact of the Network of Technological Institutes in the Valencian Community; contributing to creating the new technology-based industry from the Network's most disruptive R&D but, above all, offering the possibility of co-investment, syndicated through the Investment Club, to the more than 6,000 companies associated with the technological institutes. In short, a new milestone that reinforces REDIT Ventures' objective of creating new companies in the Community, with great transformation capacity and high growth potential. This is the ninth company that will contribute to the creation of specialized employment in the territory."
Ainia, with over 35 years of experience in R&D+i, is a technological center dedicated to boosting business competitiveness in sectors such as agri-food, packaging, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and chemistry. It boasts a team of over 300 professionals and collaborates with approximately 1,800 companies annually. Redit Ventures, on the other hand, is an investment vehicle specializing in industry, promoted by the eleven technological institutes of REDIT, aiming to enhance technology transfer and the creation of new business fabric based on Deep Tech in the Valencian Community.
