Caja Rural Granada has formalized the renewal of its agreement with the Professional Union of Granada (UPG), an alliance that will update over 90 existing agreements and benefit more than 45,000 members of professional colleges and associations in the province.
The financial institution Caja Rural Granada has announced the extension of its collaboration with the city's professional associations, through a pact with the Professional Union of Granada (UPG). This organization brings together various entities in Granada, totaling over 45,000 members from colleges and corporate associations. The primary goal of this renewal is to strengthen Caja Rural's commitment by offering preferential conditions and specialized financial products to this collective.
The formalization of this agreement took place at Caja Rural Granada's Central Services, where Miguel Cobos, the entity's Corporate Banking Director, and Javier García-Valdecasas, President of the UPG, met. During the meeting, Cobos emphasized the importance of strengthening ties with Granada's professionals, considering them a fundamental pillar for the economic and social development of the province.
For his part, García-Valdecasas highlighted the importance for the UPG, under his presidency, to seek collaborations and meeting spaces with entities that not only facilitate the entrepreneurship of collegiate professionals but also improve the quality of services offered to their members. Both parties agreed that this agreement with Caja Rural Granada meets this need, generating mutual benefits.
The collaboration agreements with professional collectives are an integral part of Caja Rural Granada's Strategic Plan 2026-2028. This plan is based on proximity, digital transformation, sustainability, and commercial excellence as key pillars to address the challenges of the current financial sector.
Also present at the signing were Ángel Aguilera, Head of Collectives at Caja Rural, and members of the UPG's Governing Board, including Juan Carlos de Cara from the College of Administrative Managers, Ignacio Joya from the Bar Association, and Rafael Turatti from the College of Doctors and Graduates.
