The sixth edition of the Galician Cybersecurity Meeting, CIBER.gal, to be held from November 4th to 6th at the Cidade da Cultura de Galicia, has now opened registration for this key event in the Galician ecosystem.

The meeting, organized by the Agency for Technological Modernization of Galicia (Amtega) and the CIBER.gal Node, with the collaboration of the Professional College of Computer Engineering of Galicia (CPEIG), will bring together professionals, companies, public administrations, students, and citizens for three days. The objective is to share knowledge, discover new solutions, and analyze the challenges of a constantly evolving digital environment.
The program is structured into three days with content adapted to different audiences: the first day focused on Public Administration, the second on the business and professional sector, and the third with a dissemination focus for the educational community and citizens. The sessions can be followed in person or online, with limited places for physical attendance and free participation until full capacity.
The relationship between cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, the application of the European NIS2 directive, digital identity, technological sovereignty, and quantum computing will be central to much of the professional content. As a novelty, attendees will have the opportunity to visit, by prior registration, the facilities and services of the Xunta's cybersecurity laboratories and demonstration centers.
The program also includes the final of the school competition Ciberseguridade no cole!, organized by Telefónica, dynamic activities for schoolchildren, and a Capture The Flag (CTF) challenge competition. In-person attendees can also enjoy networking opportunities.
