The agri-food transformation center Transformando en Brión, integrated into the Provincial Network of Collaborative Workspaces of the Diputación da Coruña, has already trained 277 people, including the 18 who completed the latest course to use the shared workshop.

The center offers small producers the possibility to transform their agricultural products and develop business initiatives without having to face the initial investment of their own workshop. This model facilitates the first steps for agri-food businesses and allows for sharing resources, knowledge, and experiences with other entrepreneurs.
The results of this work are reflected in the evolution of the projects. One user opened her own sauce workshop after developing her activity in the facilities. Furthermore, artisanal products are produced that are incorporated into local restaurants, contributing to keeping the added value of food within the territory.
The center's activity also includes training and outreach. On Wednesday, October 28, Transformando will participate in the Open Workshop on vegetable preserves, juices, and jams organized by the Axencia Galega da Calidade Alimentaria (AGACAL) in Ponteareas, where the presentation «Os espazos de traballo colaborativo na transformación e elaboración de produtos» will be given.
During this month, the project has shared its experience in meetings on community action and entrepreneurship. The space manager, Carme Freire, participated on October 20 in a seminar at the University of Santiago de Compostela and on October 22 in the digital meeting «Sementando o futuro».
Additionally, the center collaborates in the exhibition «O pequeno é grande» by Fundación RIA, featuring 21 users, and hosted a visit from the Catalan association Dones del Món Rural. It also collaborated with the Brión City Council and sustainable tourism companies in the I Romaxe de Santa Minia, where around 50 people learned about the facilities.
The Diputación da Coruña facilitates resources for rural entrepreneurship through these spaces, demonstrating how training and access to shared facilities help turn local production into business and employment opportunities.
