A group of workers at the Tubos Reunidos plant in Amurrio accessed the factory by bus this morning for the first time, amidst striking picket lines and under the watchful eye of the Ertzaintza, aiming to resume their duties.

This morning, a group of employees from Tubos Reunidos in Amurrio utilized a bus for the first time to enter the factory premises. This action, organized by workers seeking to end the indefinite strike, was carried out with the presence of the Ertzaintza to ensure safe access, due to the presence of pro-strike pickets.
Last Thursday, 232 out of 234 participating workers voted in favor of ending the indefinite strike. However, this number represents less than a third of the total workforce of 870 people. This group of workers, supported by the CCOO and UGT unions, aims to return to work, despite the opposition from the majority of the committee, which includes ELA, LAB, and ESK unions, who advocate for the continuation of the strike.
Following the assembly, those in favor of ending the strike contacted the company's management to coordinate factory entry and exit, which, as of this Tuesday, is being done by bus. The first bus arrived before six in the morning, coinciding with the start of the first shift, and was met by pickets, prompting Ertzaintza surveillance at the access point.
