The Bilbao technology campus in Zorrotzaurre is set to expand with the arrival of Lantek, a strategic project involving a 50 million euro investment and the construction of two new facilities.

The integration of Lantek into the Punta Norte area of Zorrotzaurre strengthens the site as a hub for advanced digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and robotics. The company joins existing partners such as IDOM, Mondragon Unibertsitatea, Ikerlan, and Vicomtech.
The development plan features two main buildings: a 6,000-square-meter headquarters for the industrial software firm and a 9,000-square-meter facility designed to attract further industrial and technological projects to the region.
Additionally, the historic Mefesa building will be renovated while preserving its original architecture, serving as a collaborative space for technological innovation. This initiative marks a significant step in the ongoing transformation of Bilbao into a leading center for advanced manufacturing in Euskadi.
