Gipuzkoa welcomes a new hotel: Accor's first Ibis Styles in the Basque Country, located near Zumaia.

Gipuzkoa welcomes a new hotel starting today. French chain Accor has announced the opening of its first Ibis Styles hotel in the Basque Country. This establishment is located in the Sansinenea industrial park, next to the AP-8 highway exit, just three kilometers from Zumaia.
The new establishment features 77 rooms with design inspired by Basque mythology and the natural environment, three meeting rooms, and an 800-square-meter terrace for all types of events. Its location, between San Sebastián and Bilbao and five kilometers from the beaches of Zumaia, places it in a strategic enclave for both tourists and business travelers.
One of the project's most striking elements is its restaurant, named Jentilak, which also opens with a quality cuisine proposal at accessible prices. To achieve this, they have hired chefs trained at Arzak, offering a daily menu and à la carte options, without resorting to ready-to-heat convenience food.

"On average, between 70 and 80 vehicles are stopping to recharge their cars"

The establishment also comes with a well-established presentation. Since March, the hotel installed twelve Tesla superchargers on its premises, an initiative to generate anticipation and act as a draw that seems to have worked: 'On average, between 70 and 80 vehicles are stopping to recharge their cars,' explains Itziar Calderón, the hotel's general manager. In the coming months, the plan is to expand this infrastructure to twenty chargers. Rooms are already available on the Accor website, with prices around 100 euros per night. 'We are talking about the 'top' range of Ibis hotels, where each center works its creativity very carefully,' explains Calderón.
