Júcar-Vinalopó post-transfer reaches 50% completion, operational by 2026

Section II of the Júcar-Vinalopó post-transfer works has reached 50% completion and is expected to be operational by the end of 2026, as confirmed by the president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Juanfran Pérez Llorca.

This significant project milestone was announced by Pérez Llorca during his visit to the Community of Irrigators of Aspe, where he highlighted the importance of this infrastructure for the agricultural future of the region.
The project, which involves an investment exceeding 20 million euros, is considered "strategic" for ensuring the survival and development of the agricultural sector. Its benefits will extend to the regions of Alto Vinalopó, Medio Vinalopó, and Bajo Vinalopó, as well as part of the Vega Baja.
