The agency Acció, part of the Department of Business and Labor, has awarded the Catalonia Exponential Leaders distinction to ten Catalan companies. Among them are three local firms: Fluidra, GasN2, and Nanoligent, the latter being a spin-off from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
The jury evaluated these organizations' ability to transform their sectors using advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and biotechnology. The awarded projects include platforms for resource optimization in swimming pools, industrial decarbonization systems, and therapies against aggressive tumors.
During the event, Acció officials highlighted the importance of integrating data and artificial intelligence into current business models. According to the data presented, the adoption of these technologies is steadily accelerating within the Catalan business landscape.
