Two Rubí Business Projects Honored at the 2026 Chamber Awards

The Chamber of Commerce of Terrassa presented the 2026 Chamber Awards at El Casino in Rubí, recognizing the achievements and projects of two local companies.
The Rubí City Council hosted the 2026 Chamber Awards ceremony this Thursday, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Terrassa. The gala, celebrating the entity's 140th anniversary, was attended by the Minister of Business and Labor, Miquel Sàmper Rodríguez, and the mayor of Rubí, Ana María Martínez Martínez.
This year's edition honored two business projects based in Rubí. Vicente Torns SAU, a metallurgical company specializing in electrical conductors, received the Chamber Award for ESG Criteria. Meanwhile, the Braun family, founders of the medical and health technology group B. Braun, was distinguished with the Chamber Award for Business Trajectory.
Other awardees included Window Sight SL (Terrassa) for Innovation in Digital Transformation, Isotubi SL (Castellbisbal) for Internationalization, and the HERIX project (Sant Cugat) for Best Business Initiative.
Mayor Ana María Martínez Martínez congratulated the awarded companies, highlighting their capacity for innovation and job creation. She emphasized Rubí's role as an industrial city and expressed municipal support for the new National Pact for Industry, aligning with local challenges such as talent attraction, digitalization, and decarbonization.
Minister Miquel Sàmper Rodríguez acknowledged the contribution of Catalan entrepreneurs, particularly during challenging times, and advocated for public-private collaboration. He praised the values of the awarded companies and linked the recognition of the Braun family to Rubí's business ecosystem, where their project originated in 1955.

The event featured performances by the Esbart Dansaire de Rubí and accompaniment by the cobla La Principal del Llobregat. Ramon Talamàs Jofresa, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Terrassa, highlighted the contribution of cultural entities to socio-economic activity.
