The Centre for Computer Vision (CVC) is organizing an online technical conference on October 29, 2026, to explore how artificial intelligence and computer vision can transform vineyard management.

The session, taking place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM virtually, will showcase four innovative technologies designed to enhance efficiency, precision, and sustainability in vineyard cultivation. The aim is to provide valuable information to professionals in the agricultural sector.
Among the innovations to be presented are the application of super-resolution for aerial farm monitoring, the use of Gaussian Splatting for digital crop representation, the concept of the 'connected vineyard' through IoT sensorization and real-time phenotypic tracking, and the next steps towards developing digital twins of the crop.
The conference will feature participation from renowned researchers from CVC's Analysis and Understanding of Multispectral Images research group, including Daniel Ponsa Mussarra, Felipe Lumbreras Ruiz, and Robert Benavente. Vladimir Baulin from DeepSea Numerical and the Universitat Rovira i Virgili will also participate.
This initiative is particularly aimed at those working in or interested in agriculture, viticulture, or digital technologies applied to the agri-food sector. Registration is now open via the RuralCat platform.
