With the objective of boosting quality agri-food and artisan products from the region and reinforcing the tourist image of Costa Daurada and Terres de l'Ebre, the Tarragona Provincial Council's Tourism Board is awarding grants amounting to €1 million, double the previous year's figure. These funds are intended to support various dissemination actions for these products.
Eligible for these subsidies are public law entities, their dependent bodies, and other public law entities such as chambers of commerce from Costa Daurada and Terres de l'Ebre. Non-profit private entities, including associations and cooperatives, as well as regulatory councils, can also apply.
The grants can be used for trade fairs and markets, gastronomic days, tastings, workshops, and for online and offline promotion and communication actions. Applications can be submitted until June 30.
Additionally, the Tourism Board has announced subsidies for specific programs and marketing and management activities for local destinations, aimed at municipal and regional tourism boards and offices, town councils, and county councils within the province. This call has a budget of €400,000, divided into four lines of action: smart tourist destinations, actions derived from Strategic Tourism Plans, online dissemination and improvement of tourist websites, and beach quality distinctions.
The full bases for both calls, along with the link for submitting applications, can be consulted on the Tarragona Provincial Council's Service Guide.
