The initiative seeks to promote innovative solutions applied across the entire value chain of raw materials, from extraction and supply to design, production, reuse, and recycling.
Selected projects can address six key areas: sustainable supply of primary raw materials, valorization of secondary sources and recycling, efficient use in design and production, overcoming technological barriers for circularity, practical implementation of circular economy models, and analysis and optimization of raw material value chains.
The call is open to international consortia comprising at least three partners from three different countries. These consortia can include companies, SMEs, research centers, universities, public administrations, and other innovation-linked entities.
Projects will have a maximum duration of 36 months and are expected to commence between June and September 2027. The mobilized budget exceeds €39 million, with typical project funding ranging between €1 and €2 million.
The deadline for submitting pre-proposals is September 22, 2026. This call presents a particularly relevant opportunity for industrial companies, innovative SMEs, technology centers, and research entities working in sustainability, circular economy, recycling, advanced materials, or industrial development.
