Port of Tarragona will host the fifth edition of the Agrifood International Congress on October 15-16 at Tinglado 1 in Moll de Costa. This event, organized by Port Tarragona, has established itself as a key forum for knowledge exchange in the agri-food sector in Southern Europe.
The meeting will emphasize the analysis of the agri-food system's resilience in complex and volatile global contexts, as well as the logistics chain's response to uncertain scenarios. It will delve into the impacts of this landscape on the entire value chain and the challenges for enhancing competitiveness.
During the presentations and round tables, the congress will analyze structural changes in the international trade of agri-food raw materials, the sector's adaptability, and the factors influencing its evolution. Challenges for the logistics chain, from supply to maritime and land transport, will also be addressed.
Furthermore, it will explore how geopolitical tensions, market reconfiguration, and new European regulations impact the sector's competitiveness and business decision-making.
The session on Thursday, October 15, will take place in the afternoon, while the one on Friday, October 16, will be in the morning. Registrations are now open via the event's website.
The event is sponsored by Noatum Ports, Bunge, Euroports, Ership, and Bergé, with collaboration from Arola, Alfaship, Riera Roura, BonÀrea, ASFAC, Qualimac, España Feed Factory, and Grupo AN.
