The document outlines the objective, scope, and composition of the XEC Rubí, driven by the Office for Business Services (Oficina de Serveis a l'Empresa). The network targets companies and entrepreneurs from Rubí, excluding sectors such as retail, tourism, and local primary food production. Organizations from the Rubí Industrial Competitiveness Table (TCIR) and other expert networks in circular and digital economy are also welcome.
The Rubí City Council acts as the main coordinator, managing administration, resource channeling, and progress evaluation. Adhering companies and entrepreneurs benefit from services, actively participating in activities and proposing new projects. Collaborating organizations contribute specialized knowledge and technical support.
Requirements for companies include having their registered office in Rubí, being up-to-date with labor and tax obligations, and holding the necessary activity license. Entrepreneurs must develop a business linked to Rubí within two years. The adhesion process involves completing forms for challenges, needs, and company/organization details, as well as accepting the operating rules.
The XEC Rubí's lines of action focus on the transition to circular and digital economy models, covering areas such as energy, waste, water, mobility, technological innovation, legislation, circular business models, financing, supply chain, and product design. It promotes resource efficiency and collaboration among key regional stakeholders.
Operations include coordination and monitoring by the Office for Business Services, with annual meetings to evaluate results, discuss challenges, and approve projects. Communication will be through a newsletter, collaborative digital tools, and the XEC Rubí website. Voluntary withdrawal or suspension of members can be processed via email or due to non-compliance with the rules.
The rules, which can be modified by the competent councilor, will have indefinite duration. Confidentiality and personal data processing will comply with the GDPR and current regulations. This document exclusively governs the internal operations of the Network and does not create economic or legal obligations beyond the municipality's own competencies.
