The company Torrons i Mel Alemany, based in Os de Balaguer, has presented its latest innovations at Fira Q de Balaguer, highlighting a new line of high-gastronomy honeys and a pioneering product in the beekeeping sector.

Torrons i Mel Alemany's participation in Fira Q de Balaguer, held on April 25 and 26, 2026, underscores its commitment to beekeeping tradition and the constant pursuit of innovation. The company has unveiled two proposals that mark a new direction in its trajectory.
One of the major novelties is the Luxe Range, a collection of honeys born from collaborations with renowned gastronomic firms. This line aims to position honey as a high-cuisine ingredient, ideal for gourmet restaurants and consumers who value products with character and identity.
The Luxe Range includes original combinations such as Honey and Truffle (with Laumont), Honey and Matcha Tea (with Tea Shop), Honey and Saffron (with Safrà del Montsec), and Honey and Chili (with Specials Foods). These strategic alliances merge Alemany's beekeeping expertise with the excellence of other premium sector specialists.
The other significant innovation is Honey with Vitamin B12, an unprecedented product on the market that places Alemany at the forefront of functional innovation. This honey is the first with a high content of this essential nutrient, recognized for its contribution to energy metabolism, reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and the proper functioning of the nervous and immune systems.
In addition to Vitamin B12, this honey incorporates essential amino acids such as valine, leucine, and isoleucine (BCAA), commonly found in animal protein. It is particularly suitable for elderly individuals, athletes, and those with diets that may lead to insufficient Vitamin B12 intake, aiming to improve their nutritional balance and overall well-being.
During the fair, a workshop titled “The new generation of Alemany honeys: Luxe and B12. A journey between high-end honeys and the innovation of the first honey with vitamin B12” was held, detailing the characteristics and benefits of these new offerings.
