The Federació Empresarial del Camp de Tarragona (FOET) has been officially presented in Vila-seca, with the mission to represent and strengthen the region's business fabric, acting as a lobby before administrations.

This new employers' association, which seeks to continue the work of the former Confederació Empresarial de la Província de Tarragona (Cepta), is integrated as a territorial branch of Foment del Treball Nacional, which in turn is part of the CEOE. The presentation took place at the Beach Club Infinitum in La Pineda, Vila-seca.
Among the founding members of FOET are entities with a long history and influence in the territory, such as the Federació Empresarial d’Autotransport de Tarragona (Feat), the Gremi de la Construcció del Tarragonès, and the Associació Empresarial de Tallers de Reparació y Venedors d’Automoció (Astave). Significant sectoral associations like the Associació d’Empreses Químiques de Tarragona (AEQT) and the Federació Empresarial d’Hostaleria i Turisme de la província de Tarragona (FEHT) have also joined.
The creation of FOET responds to the need to consolidate the economic power of Camp de Tarragona and Terres de l’Ebre, recognized for their industry, gastronomy, deseasonalized tourism, research capacity, and good communications. The main objective is for the region to be taken into account in all areas, both public and private, to the level it deserves.

"The great challenge for our demarcation is not only economic and political. It is psychological. We need to recover a collective self-esteem that allows us to think big without complexes."
