The headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce of Terrassa hosted six of the ten technology and innovative companies participating in the first call of the “Impulsa Startup” program. The event allowed these companies to showcase the progress of their projects to potential investors, aiming to facilitate access to funding and enhance their scalability.
An evaluation committee, comprising Mercè Tell (Encomenda Smart Capital), Lluís Juncà (advisor and investor), and Marc Busom (Wecaria), assessed the projects. This Demo Day marks the conclusion of a six-month acceleration program that included personalized mentoring, expert guidance, and training in business strategies, marketing, finance, internationalization, and funding access.
FAWE 2025, a cosmetics and beautytech company from Sant Cugat, and Good Microbiome, focused on HealthTech and Biotech from Matadepera, were the most highly rated. FAWE 2025, with its skincare brand featuring an urban, natural, and Mediterranean aesthetic specializing in neurocosmetics, received the first prize of 4,800 euros. Good Microbiome, concentrating on intestinal health prevention and monitoring, was recognized with the second prize of 1,600 euros.
These cash awards are granted by the Chamber of Commerce of Terrassa. The Demo Day not only offers direct contact with investors but also provides the opportunity to access the national final of the “Impulsa Startup” program, coordinated by the Cámara de España and co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), with an additional prize of 12,000 euros.
The introduction of two annual calls is one of the notable innovations in the Entrepreneurship area of the Chamber of Terrassa for 2026. The deadline for submitting applications for the new call is next Monday, June 22nd, and it will allow for the selection of up to ten new technology-based and innovative business proposals.
