Container traffic reached 1.93 million TEUs, with a growth of 4.3%. This result is mainly explained by the boost in imports, which grew by 6.7%. However, exports of full containers suffered a 10.1% decline, a trend that the port's management links to global geopolitical and health factors.
Other segments of port activity showed positive evolution. Bulk liquids increased by 4.1%, bulk solids by 5.1%, and vehicle movement by 6.5%. Meanwhile, ro-ro traffic, which handles road freight transport, grew by 2.8%.
On the other hand, the passenger sector recorded 2.44 million movements, 4.1% more than in 2025. Both ferry and cruise traffic contributed to this increase, with the number of cruise passengers growing by 3.4%.
Regarding logistics, a 0.6% reduction in vessel calls was observed. Likewise, rail traffic was affected by the closure of the Gelida and Rubí tunnels, leading to a decrease in traffic on both the Iberian gauge and international gauge networks.
