The agreement, signed this morning at the DFactory Barcelona by the CZFB's General Director, Blanca Sorigué, and the President of the Pimec Foundation, Josep González, will reinforce key programs such as Talent Sènior and Emppersona – Segona Oportunitat. These initiatives are designed to support entrepreneurs, self-employed individuals, and professionals seeking to reinvent themselves or re-enter the job market.
The Emppersona-Segona Oportunitat program offers personalized advice to help professionals relaunch their businesses or find new career paths, with the support of volunteer mentors. Meanwhile, Talent Sènior focuses on valuing the experience of individuals over 50, promoting their integration into the workforce and raising awareness among companies about the importance of leveraging this talent for competitiveness and innovation.
Blanca Sorigué highlighted that “the economic and technological transformation we are experiencing requires leveraging all available talent. Senior professionals bring experience, knowledge, and adaptability, essential values for facing the challenges of the new economy.” She added that the agreement is a further step in the commitment to a more inclusive, diverse, and sustainable labor market.
Josep González positively assessed the collaboration, stating that “our capacity to support entrepreneurs, the self-employed, business starters, and small companies depends not only on our own resources but also on the trust placed in us by institutions like the CZFB”.
Furthermore, the agreement includes awareness-raising actions, informative workshops, and reflection spaces on senior talent, contributing to highlighting the importance of inclusive companies and labor markets. The CZFB thus reaffirms its commitment to talent development as a fundamental pillar of industrial and economic transformation.
