According to data published by the National Statistics Institute (INE), products related to housing, water, electricity, and fuels are those that have become most expensive compared to the previous year, with an increase of 6.5%. Transport (5.7%) and restaurants (6%) also show significant price increases.
In contrast, the only category that has experienced a price decrease has been clothing and footwear, which have become 1.5% cheaper, mainly due to the effect of summer sales.
