BBVA AM manages 14.6 billion euros in investment funds in Catalonia

The asset manager increased its assets in the region by 8.4% and funded local social projects.

Asset manager BBVA Asset Management reached a volume of 14.6 billion euros in investment funds in Catalonia during 2025, representing an annual increase of 8.4%.

According to data from the entity, the assets managed in the region represent 26.6% of the manager's total at the national level. This growth was accompanied by a base of more than 459,000 participants in Catalonia.
As part of its social responsibility strategy, the manager allocated 168,000 euros to four transformative initiatives in territories such as Lleida, Barcelona, Hospitalet de Llobregat, Castellterçol, Castellcir, and Lladó.
The projects selected in Catalonia include entities such as the Associació de Paraplègics i Discapacitats Físics de Lleida (ASPID), the Fundación CRIS contra el Cáncer, the Associació NARINAN Projecte Social Familiar, and the Fundación Emys.
This contribution is part of a broader solidarity call that has awarded 25 projects nationwide, with a special focus on environmental restoration, reforestation, and forest fire prevention.
