The city of Barcelona will host the III Mediterranean Economic and Social Forum, taking place on June 16, 17, and 18 to foster economic cooperation.

The official presentation of the meeting, held at CaixaForum Madrid, served to mark a shift in the summit's approach. Organizers called on economic and institutional agents to move from reflection to direct action, aiming to consolidate projects that generate a positive and tangible impact on society.
The event, which already has twenty strategic partners, is positioned as a key space for the integration of the Mediterranean axis. According to organization sources, the intention is to promote progress that is socially just and sustainable, adapting to a complex and changing global context.

"This Forum will no longer be about hope; it will be the Forum of action. We must start running and make it possible for many of the things we have been generating over the years to move forward."

During the presentation, the social work of the "la Caixa" Foundation was also highlighted, following the recent inauguration of the CaixaResearch Institute. This new research center, dedicated to immunology, will feature a team of 500 scientists focused on studying diseases, reinforcing the entity's commitment to the most vulnerable groups.
