Valle Gran Rey finalizes local business grants with an increase in approved applications

The Valle Gran Rey City Council has finalized the grant allocation process for self-employed workers and small businesses in the municipality for the 2026 fiscal year, achieving a significant increase in the number of beneficiaries.

The call for applications saw high participation, with over 200 requests submitted. In this edition, the approval rate rose to 68.93%, compared to the 54.58% recorded the previous year. A total of 167,548.03 euros has been distributed among 142 beneficiaries, exceeding the 137,333.56 euros allocated in the previous cycle.
The local government has confirmed that payments to applicants will be processed in the coming days. The purpose of these grants is to cover expenses derived from business activity, thereby promoting economic revitalization and job creation in Valle Gran Rey.

Looking ahead, the local administration is already working on optimizing the guidelines to simplify administrative procedures. Plans for future editions include increasing the total budget to 300,000 euros and raising the maximum amount per beneficiary to 2,000 euros.
