The new establishment, located at Párroco Segundo Vega street, number 129, is strategically positioned between the El Batán and San Roque neighborhoods. This location aims to facilitate access to a modern commercial offering tailored to the daily needs of local residents.

With this opening, SPAR Gran Canaria solidifies its position as the supermarket chain with the highest number of sales points in the island's capital. The store boasts a total area of 320 square meters, with 240 dedicated to the sales floor, designed for an agile and efficient shopping experience.

Customers of SPAR El Batán will find a wide selection of fresh and quality products in sections such as fruits and vegetables, deli, butchery, bakery, and self-service prepared meals. Additionally, the supermarket offers home delivery, order placement through platforms like Glovo and Uber Eats, and online shopping via the SPAR Gran Canaria website, adapting to new consumer habits.

In line with environmental commitment, the new sales point incorporates a 100% LED lighting system with motion sensors to optimize energy consumption. It also features a mixed propane and CO2 refrigeration system, contributing to the reduction of potential polluting emissions.

To celebrate its opening, the establishment will run special promotions and loyalty initiatives. Until May 14, 700 lots of SPAR brand products will be raffled among customers who make purchases of 20 euros or more. Operating hours are Monday to Saturday, from 08:30 to 21:00, and Sundays, from 09:00 to 15:00.
