The entrepreneur, who recently received recognition in his municipality for his work in sustainable innovation, has consolidated a group of five companies across various sectors. Among them, AG Technology stands out, specializing in energetically self-sustaining urban furniture and LED lighting solutions.
In addition to AG Technology, the business group includes the largest body and paint shop in the south of the island, a video surveillance and security company, and a coworking space that collaborates with foreign companies. The entrepreneur attributes his success to a leadership philosophy based on humility, hard work, and constant support for his team.
“"I contribute my grain of sand and feel that I represent many other entrepreneurs in the municipality who are also supporting economic growth, trying to give their best to the municipality while also growing outwards."
AG Technology, founded seven years ago, emerged from the need for local suppliers of lighting and self-sustaining urban furniture. The company focuses on eliminating intermediaries to offer high-quality products at competitive prices, prioritizing sustainability and reducing the carbon footprint.
The company's international expansion has been remarkable, reaching countries such as Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Mauritania through the Chamber of Commerce. Its products are also found in cities on the Peninsula, Poland, Germany, England, and notably, in Silicon Valley, where they have installed Seedia brand solar benches. These urban elements not only allow charging mobile devices but also offer Wi-Fi connectivity and are self-illuminating, using photovoltaic energy and contributing to data management to boost commercial areas.
