A security and emergency company in San Bartolomé de Tirajana has been honored with the Service Vocation award by the local City Council, in recognition of its outstanding work and commitment to the community since its inception.

The company Provital, dedicated to security and emergencies, has been distinguished with the Service Vocation award during the SBT Entrepreneur Awards 2026 gala. This accolade, granted by the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council, acknowledges the company's trajectory and commitment to the well-being of the population.
The company's founder, a native of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, always showed a clear inclination to help others. This vocation led her to train as a cultural animation technician and, later, to study Social Education. Her restless and protective spirit prompted her to add a lifeguard certification to her resume, solidifying her commitment to caring for people.
Together with her brother, the entrepreneur began her professional journey by creating a youth association to organize summer camps. This initial project evolved into the founding of their first company, Animación.com, dedicated to organizing events such as communions, weddings, and children's workshops. Subsequently, they founded Al Instante Producciones, establishing themselves as leaders in the event organization sector.

"Security was a fundamental factor in any activity they organized, especially when children were involved."

Their concern for the safety and well-being of participants in their events led them to train in the security sector. A tragic family event, the loss of their mother, prompted the siblings to want to contribute to medical transport. This is how Provital, the security and emergency company now recognized for its work, was born.
From its beginnings with a single ambulance, Provital has grown to have a large fleet, attending to emergencies in the municipality. The founder emphasizes that, despite commercial interests, the company maintains a selfless and supportive commitment, as demonstrated two years ago when they donated a state-of-the-art ambulance to Senegal.
The entrepreneur believes that all her life experiences, from her training as a sociocultural animator to her social work, have converged in the creation of Provital. Her personal and professional life are governed by the principle of "helping others," a constant that has driven her to undertake new projects.
Currently, the company's founder serves as security director, providing her services at massive and relevant events on the islands, such as the WRC Rally Islas Canarias 2026 and the parades of the Maspalomas Carnival and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival. Despite the enormous responsibility, she finds satisfaction in the successful management of these large events.
The Service Vocation award, received 16 years after the founding of Provital, came as a surprise to the siblings. The entrepreneur highlights that this award is a recognition of the passion for entrepreneurship and helping others, values they have cultivated since childhood. She encourages young people in the municipality to pursue their goals and not be afraid to undertake new ventures.
