The OMODA JAECOO Canarias dealership, belonging to the Rafael Afonso Group, hosted the successful 'SHS Fever Night' in Tenerife, an event highlighting the growing interest in electrified mobility on the island and celebrating brand milestones.
The automotive brand OMODA & JAECOO, represented in the Canary Islands by the Rafael Afonso Group, successfully celebrated the second edition of its OJ Premiere Day event, themed ‘SHS Fever Night’, in Tenerife. The event, held at the new dealership in Los Majuelos, gathered dozens of attendees and served as the official inauguration of the facilities, strengthening the brand's presence on the island.
The OMODA JAECOO Canarias dealership became the hub of an evening that combined product presentations, cutting-edge technology, and entertainment, underscoring the growing interest of the Canarian public in electrified mobility solutions. Nationally, this event reaffirms OJ Premiere Day as a strategic pillar for the brand in Spain.
During the event, attendees had the opportunity to get up close with the latest releases, with a special focus on the Super Hybrid System (SHS). The OMODA 7 SHS and JAECOO 8 SHS models were central, alongside the JAECOO 7 HEV, expanding the brand's hybrid offerings.
The celebration coincided with a significant milestone for the company: OMODA & JAECOO has reached 50,000 customers in Spain. Customer Candelaria Izquierdo symbolically received the 50,000th unit, reflecting the brand's rapid growth in the country. This achievement consolidates OMODA JAECOO Canarias as a strategic hub within an expanding brand, which already holds over 5% market share in the private channel nationally and stands out in the Canary Islands for its high growth.
The ‘SHS Fever Night’ highlighted the company's accelerated progress in electrification, with a range where electrified solutions are gaining increasing prominence. The brand has reinforced its hybrid offering, combining efficiency and high performance. The arrival of the OMODA 4 in 2027 is highly anticipated, a strategic model that will strengthen the brand's presence in a dynamic market segment.
The success of this second edition of OJ PREMIERE DAY confirms its differentiating character, transforming 47 dealerships across Spain into experiential spaces. OMODA & JAECOO thus reinforces its positioning by focusing on growth, electrification, and a new customer relationship based on experience and proximity. In the Canary Islands, the brand operates six facilities distributed across Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, and Fuerteventura.
