The service, which will run until April 11, 2027, will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. This new operation marks a strategic shift, replacing the flights the airline previously conducted from London Gatwick.
The link to Heathrow integrates the island into the airline's international network via Terminal 5, facilitating access for travelers from around the world who use this hub for connections.
The British market remains the primary source of tourists for the island. During the first half of 2026, the destination welcomed over 418,000 passengers from the United Kingdom, representing an increase compared to the previous year.
