The Foro Canarias held its Annual Gala Dinner in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, an event that marked the end of a 28-year tenure in the presidency and the beginning of a new direction for the institution.

The evening, which took place at the Royal Hideaway Santa Catalina Hotel, served as a tribute to the figure who has led the organization for nearly three decades. Prior to the dinner, the General Assembly was held, where the 2021-2025 Report was presented and the accounts for the last fiscal year were approved.
During the assembly, the Board of Directors was renewed. The sole candidacy presented was elected by acclamation, appointing a new president. He is accompanied in the new board by a vice-president, a secretary, a treasurer, and several members.

"The new Board of Directors intends to promote a modification of the statutes to appoint the outgoing president as Honorary President."

The event was closed by the new president, who took the opportunity to announce the new Board of Directors' proposal to modify the statutes to grant the outgoing president the title of Honorary President.
