The Government of the Canary Islands, through the Ministry of Economy, Industry, Commerce and Self-Employed, has launched the second edition of the Archipelago Consumption Vouchers, with an investment of 3 million euros to revitalize local commerce across all islands.

The campaign, presented by Vice President Manuel Domínguez on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, will allocate 2,448,000 euros directly to vouchers, generating an injection of 4,895,900 euros into the archipelago's commercial fabric. This figure surpasses the investment of the previous edition, which was 2,537,000 euros, with 2 million allocated to vouchers, demonstrating the consolidation of this commercial revitalization tool.
The web platform www.bonoconsumoarchipielago.com will be operational for businesses to join from April 15 at 10:00 AM, and the vouchers will go on sale on April 28. The campaign will last two months. Each voucher will have a value of 50 euros, half of which will be contributed by the consumer (25 euros) and the other half financed by the General Directorate of Commerce and Consumption of the Government of the Canary Islands, managed through the Chambers of Commerce. A total of 97,918 vouchers have been made available, distributed among all the islands.

"This second edition reinforces the commitment of the Government of the Canary Islands to local commerce and therefore to the self-employed, a sector we continue to support with specific measures to facilitate their activity, strengthen their competitiveness and contribute to the creation and consolidation of employment in the islands."

Manuel Domínguez · Vice President of the Government of the Canary Islands and Minister of Economy, Industry, Commerce and Self-Employed
Vouchers can only be used in participating establishments on the island where they were purchased, thus promoting local consumption. Self-employed individuals, micro-enterprises, and small businesses with establishments open to the public in the Canary Islands can participate, excluding large department stores, supermarkets, food distribution chains, and certain national or international franchises. Users must be of legal age, identify themselves with their DNI at the time of purchase, and can acquire a maximum of 4 vouchers per island (100 euros), allowing them to spend up to 200 euros. Vouchers are nominative, non-transferable, non-refundable, and only valid for in-person purchases.

"This campaign is a very useful tool to mobilize local consumption and offer new opportunities to thousands of small businesses in the Canary Islands, which are an essential part of the economy and employment in our territory."

Santiago Sesé · President of the Chamber of Commerce of Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Each participating establishment will have a redemption limit of 5,000 euros, with the possibility of extension. Voucher liquidation will be managed through the platform and paid within a maximum of 15 days. Participating sectors include electronics, IT, telephony, DIY, toy stores, fashion and accessories, and sports. The distribution of vouchers by island is as follows: Tenerife (35,988), La Palma (5,245), La Gomera (3,453), El Hierro (2,952), Gran Canaria (35,456), Lanzarote (8,195), and Fuerteventura (6,629).
