Vimcorsa, the municipal housing company of Córdoba, has launched a tender for the construction of 30 subsidized homes for sale in the San Rafael de la Albaida neighborhood, representing an investment of 4.3 million euros.

These new developments will be located on two plots, each measuring 642 square meters, within the southern partial plan of San Rafael de la Albaida. This area is already established with private housing and is close to major commercial centers. The project includes the construction of 15 subsidized homes on each plot, along with parking spaces and storage rooms.
The contract, valued at 4.3 million euros including taxes, sets a completion period of 21 months. It is estimated that, once the tender process is finalized and the contractor is appointed, the homes could be ready by summer 2028.

"Bidders have until May 29 to process all offer details, as the economic documentation is expected to be opened on that date, the last hurdle for the final evaluation by the contracting board before selecting the winning firm."

The San Rafael de la Albaida Sur partial plan is considered a strategic area for the expansion of Poniente, due to its proximity to the Ronda de Córdoba Shopping Center and its location near the connection between the Ronda de Poniente and the Norte. The design for these developments was carried out by the architectural firm responsible for the rest of the partial plan, which began in 2008.
This initiative complements other actions by Vimcorsa, which in January also tendered the construction of another 30 subsidized homes in Acera de Granada, close to the Arenal bridge and opposite the Córdoba Contemporary Creation Center (C3A).
