The municipality of Nerja has reduced its unemployment rate by 11.63% in July, standing at 912 people, which is 120 fewer unemployed than the previous year.

The downward trend in unemployment in Nerja remains strong, with the number of jobless individuals below the one-thousand mark. According to the latest data from the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security, and Migration, corresponding to the month of July, the municipality currently registers 912 unemployed people.
Compared to the same month last year, unemployment has decreased by 11.63%, which translates to 120 fewer people unemployed compared to July 2025.
