The call has attracted significant interest in the territory, with projects totaling an investment of over 7.2 million euros and requesting 4.2 million euros in subsidies, far exceeding the available €1,548,613.80.
Line 3, focused on rural environment conservation, quality of life improvement, and social and sustainable development, was the most in-demand, with 2.1 million euros in requested aid. It is followed by Line 2 (rural diversification) with 1.3 million euros, and Line 1 (agricultural and forestry development) with €699,506.23.
These figures highlight the existing initiative in the regions and the importance of LEADER funds in promoting projects that foster a more dynamic rural territory with greater opportunities. Initiatives focused on improving citizens' quality of life, entrepreneurship among women and youth, and sustainability stand out.
Applications are processed in chronological order of receipt, through a non-competitive procedure. The GDR continues to support promoters throughout the application process.
These aids are part of Intervention 7119.2 of the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy (PEPAC) 2023-2027, co-financed by the European Union (85% EAFRD), the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, and the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development (15%).
