The competition, considered one of the most influential in the sector globally, annually gathers hundreds of samples from leading producing countries. Its international jury, composed of tasters and experts, evaluates the quality of extra virgin olive oils.
Among the distinguished oils is El Empiedro, from S.C.A. Olivarera La Purísima, which has received the Gran Prestigio de Oro (Great Gold Prestige).
Parqueoliva Serie Oro, from Almazaras de la Subbética, S.L., has also been awarded the Gran Prestigio de Oro and has managed to rank among the Top Ten of the competition.
Furthermore, Rincón de la Subbética, also from Almazaras de la Subbética, S.L., has achieved the Gran Prestigio de Oro, as has Venta del Barón, from the company Muela-Olives, S.L.
These new accolades further enhance the international profile of the Priego de Córdoba DOP and confirm the high regard for its extra virgin olive oils on the world stage.
