The Andalusian company Northstar Brokerage has launched Agri Investments, a new business unit dedicated to the buying and selling of agricultural exploitations and agro-industrial assets, with an initial portfolio valued at 150 million euros.
Agri Investments, the new division of Northstar Brokerage, which specializes in brokering cereals and raw materials, has commenced operations with a portfolio of 27 assets spread across Spain. These assets include dryland and irrigated farms, olive groves, dehesas, as well as factories and grain storage facilities, reflecting the diversity of the agro-industrial sector.
Since its establishment in 2010, Northstar Brokerage has supported over 500 operators in the agro-food sector across fifty countries, optimizing their needs for cereals, oilseeds, and vegetable oils. This extensive experience and market knowledge have been instrumental in the creation of Agri Investments, which aims to assist investors looking to diversify their portfolios within the agro-industrial domain.
The Spanish rural property market showed significant dynamism in 2025, with figures close to historical highs. Andalucía solidified its position as one of the main drivers, accounting for nearly 15% of national transactions with 24,827 operations, an increase of 9.3%. This growth was widespread across the region, with particularly intense advancements in provinces such as Sevilla, Huelva, and Jaén.
Headquartered in Sevilla, with additional offices in Dubai, Madrid, and Copenhagen, Northstar Brokerage boasts a team of twenty professionals from eight nationalities. Annually, the firm brokers approximately five million tons of cereals, protein flours, and vegetable oils, mediating 25% of the world's durum wheat.
