The event, organized by Confevap, closed its edition with the presentation of awards to various participants. Among those honored were a sheep farmer from Belalcázar, a family cheese factory from El Viso, and a representative from a company dedicated to dairy cattle genetic improvement, highlighting their commitment to the fair since its inception.
The implemented changes in the fair's format, which aim to innovate towards a model more focused on activities and experiences, have been well-received. These include product tastings and samplings, presentations of local events, and training talks on various topics, from the recovery of culinary elements to debates on the future of mountain olive groves.
“"The changes introduced in the model of the livestock and agri-food product exhibition fair are here to stay, endorsed by public success."
The Dairy Pavilion was one of the most notable novelties, bringing together companies from the dairy sector and offering live demonstrations, such as robotic milking. Furthermore, direct sales companies were relocated to central tents, closer to the cattle, sheep, and pig areas. This edition also featured the presence of hunting dog breeds and hunting-related products.
The competitions maintained their appeal, remaining a central part of the fair. Contests for Arabian and Pure Spanish Breed horses were held, as well as the III Territorial Western Dressage Competition. The Induvap League, coordinated by Inducan and sponsored by Alimentación Animal Covap, also attracted a large audience.
